FANART
Graphic Design Challenge
A Discover Design 2025 Competition
An initiative by The Design Venue
What if your world collided with theirs?

Imagine this —
Harry Potter running through your school corridors.
Taylor Swift sipping chai at your local tapri.
Iron Man repairing potholes in your street.
Wednesday Addams sitting in your math class.

Welcome to My Multiverse — a place where fiction, fantasy, and fame step right into your everyday life.

This is your moment to reimagine your favourite character or celebrity in YOUR
world. Bring them into your school, your streets, your home, or your hangout. Illustrate,
doodle, and daydream—all with your hands, heart, and imagination.

No digital edits. No filters. No AI. Just YOU, your pen, your paper, and a killer idea.
Who can participate?
FANART: My Multiverse is a traditional (non-digital) fan art challenge open to students
of Grades 9, 10, 11 & 12 from across India.
We’re looking for students who can blend photography, imagination, and hand-drawn creativity to tell the most unexpected and entertaining “What if…?” story

THE TASK
Create ONE original fanart or doodle piece that inserts a popular fictional character or
celebrity into your real world.
Want to draw Naruto sitting on your school bench? Or Zendaya enjoying pani puri on
MG Road? Do it!
Use a photograph you clicked, a hand-drawn background, a notebook page, a wall, anything traditional and tangible.
Just no digital tools. No Photoshop. No AI. No Canva. Old-school only.
Accompany your artwork with a short concept note (max 100 words) answering:
"What if [character/celeb] lived in my world?"

WHAT TO SUBMIT?

Note: All submissions must be original. No digital editing, filters, or AI-generated content. Let your raw creativity shine. Submissions with digital manipulation will be disqualified.

Judging Criteria

Why Participate?
Because where else can you bring Batman to your tuition class?
Because you’re the generation that grew up with memes, fandoms, filters — but now, let’s see what you can do with nothing but a marker, a camera, and imagination. Shortlisted entries will be showcased at Discover Design 2025 – India’s biggest inter-school design festival at Christ University, Bangalore, on August 24th.

Because YOU are the storyteller of this multiverse.
And this is your chance to win trophies, be featured, and get mentored by real designers
from India’s leading creative hubs.

FINALISTS MUST CARRY:

Printed A3 sheet (your submission image)
