What is “Teen Lens”?​
​
Teen Lens is not your typical photography contest. It’s your chance to freeze-frame the
raw, unfiltered chaos of teenage life—and show the world what it really looks like.
We’re not after perfection. We’re after your story.
The one that spills from your cluttered desk, sneaker shelf, chai breaks, mirror selfies, gang hangouts, guitar jams, late-night texts, and that messy, magical world you call teenhood. So zoom in. Snap away. Curate a visual story that reflects your vibe, your chaos, your tribe.
Who can participate?

THE TASK
​​
Submit a collage of 3 to 5 photos that reflect real moments from your teenage life. Pair each photo with a caption as if it’s an Instagram post, expressing your vibe, humor, or insight. Tell your story through images and words, sharing what makes your teenage world one of a kind​​

Maintain respect—no hate speech, nudity, or offensive content

Follow all formatting and file requirements

Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.

Work must be uploaded via official Discover Design platforms/templates.

Promote your entries ethically

Keep your design safe, breathable, and comfortable for the pet.

Final content may be used by Discover Design and The Design Venue for publication, social media, or educational promotion (with credits).

Plagiarism and digital manipulation will result in disqualification.

All participants receive certificates; Top 3 win trophies + spotlight features

Note: All submissions must be original. No digital editing, filters, or AI-generated content. Let your raw creativity shine. Submissions with digital manipulation will be disqualified.

JUDGING CRITERIA
Your entry will be evaluated on the following:

Because no one sees the world like you do.
Because your teenage lens is bold, loud, beautiful, and real.
And because this is your moment to be seen, heard, and celebrated.

Shortlisted entries will be showcased at Discover Design 2025 – India’s biggest inter-school design festival at Christ University, Bangalore on August 24th.
​
You’ll also get a certificate, mentoring from top design minds, Instagram fame, trophies, and hey, college applications love this stuff too.

Q: Can I use photos clicked on my phone?
A: Yes! As long as they’re original and unedited.
​
Q: What kind of captions should I write?
A: Keep it Instagram-style. Be witty, deep, relatable, ironic, bold—be YOU.
​
Q: Can I work in a group?
A: No. This is a solo challenge.
​
Q: What should I show in my reel?
A: Behind the scenes, what inspired you, how you took the shots, your story—anything that reflects your process.
