What’s the Vibe?​
​
What if your personality could be a place? What if your mood, your aesthetic, your
vibe... could be turned into a physical space? Think cozy cloud dens, jungle dorms, underwater hangout hubs, or retro-gamer bunkers in outer space. This is your invitation to break the laws of architecture and design a dreamspace that reflects you.
Ditch the design norms and let your imagination go full tilt — no rules, no limits, just
lines, colors, textures, and wild creativity. If your space had a vibe... what would it be?
Who can Participate?

Students of Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12

Schools can send multiple teams

THE TASK?
Design your dreamspace that tells your story. You will:

Create a hand-drawn A3 sketch (either front view or perspective) using ONLY traditional (non-digital) mediums
-
Write a short note (max 250 words) describing what makes your space special and who would love hanging out there

Pick 3 words that define the vibe of your space (e.g., trippy, mindful, moody)

​​​WHAT TO SUBMIT​
Note : All submissions must be original. No digital editing, filters, or AI-generated content. Let your raw creativity shine. Submissions with digital manipulation will be disqualified.

JUDGING CRITERIA
Your entry will be evaluated on the following:
WHY PARTICIPATE?​
Because this is more than a competition — it's a canvas for your imagination.
Whether you're dreaming of NID, NIFT, or architecture school, this is where your
creative journey begins.

The Design Venue is watching. Top participants may get invited for portfolio mentoring, exclusive workshops, or 1-on-1 feedback from design experts

GENERAL RULES & GUIDELINES – LINES AND VIBES

Only one entry per participant is allowed.

Use only traditional art mediums (pencil, pen, watercolor, etc.). No digital edits, rendering, or manipulation permitted.

Submit your work using the official templates provided by Discover Design.
-
You must collaborate on your Instagram reel with the official Discover Design pages.
-
Promote your work—Instagram voting will influence the final shortlist.

Entries must be 100% original. No plagiarism, AI usage, or copied content allowed.
-
Avoid content that is inappropriate, offensive, sexist, violent, or plagiarized.

All participants receive certificates. The Top 3 winners will receive trophies and spotlight features.

Final submissions may be used by Discover Design and The Design Venue for publication, social media, or educational promotion, with proper credit.
