This is your chance to step into the spotlight — with your pet by your side.
Does your pet have more paws-onality than the average fashionista?
Is your dog diva-ready? Your cat couture-conscious? Or your goldfish glam?
Welcome to PET FIT: where high fashion meets furry friends. This one-of-a-kind design challenge invites high school students to create a stunning pet outfit or accessory, style their animal companion, and capture the perfect petwalk-ready moment fit for a pet fashion magazine cover.
This is not just about dressing up your pet. It's about:

​Bring your imagination, design sensibility, and camera skills to life — because the runway belongs to the animals now.
Who can Participate?

Students of Grades 9, 10, 11, and 12

Individual participants only (no team submissions)​​​

The Task
-
Design & Create a one-of-a-kind garment or accessory for your pet — dog, cat, rabbit, parrot, guinea pig, or even a fish!

Develop a theme: Choose a concept or inspiration — red carpet glamour,
mythology, streetwear, ethnic elegance, fantasy, or even your pet’s daily drama. -
Build a mood board: Curate your vibe. Props, color palette, materials,
references. -
Style your pet: Plan the photoshoot. Think poses, lighting, backdrop, props.

Capture the perfect photo: Powerful images that screams "Pet Fashion
Magazine Cover!" -
Show your journey: Shoot a short reel (90 sec max) of the making, styling, or
photoshoot process

Note: All submissions must be original. No digital editing, filters, or AI-generated content. Let your raw creativity shine. Submissions with digital manipulation will be disqualified.

GENERAL RULES & GUIDELINES – PET FIT

Each participant can submit only one entry.
-
Entries must be respectful and appropriate—no vulgar, violent, or culturally insensitive content.
-
Your design must not cause harm, stress, or discomfort to any pet. Any signs of cruelty or distress will lead to immediate disqualification and a ban from future Discover Design events.

Submissions after the deadline will not be accepted.

Upload your work only via the official Discover Design templates/platforms.

You may use only original work or stock materials you have full rights to.
-
All entries must be promoted ethically—no spamming or fake engagement.
-
Designs must be safe, breathable, and comfortable for the pet.
-
Once submitted, the entire rights and ownership of your work will belong to The Design Venue and Discover Design. Participants cannot challenge or claim rights over the submitted work.

Final submissions may be used for promotions, publications, or educational purposes, with proper credit.

Plagiarism or heavy digital manipulation will lead to disqualification.

Judges' decisions are final—results cannot be questioned.

All participants will receive certificates. The Top 3 winners will get trophies and feature spotlights.
