This challenge will explore the intricate beauty of origami and translate its graceful folds into stunning sources of light. Get ready to craft delicate yet striking designs that combine ancient arts with modern functionalities. So it's time to create, innovate and let your creative light guide the way!
The Task:
Participants will have to create a lamp or light fixture deriving inspiration from Origami, the Japanese art of paper folding. The lamp must be designed to feature in any one of the following spaces.

VIP Lounge Restroom
What to present?
Your final light fixture
A drawing of the setting for the lamp
A concept note explaining why you chose the setting and the concept behind the design of your lamp
Notes: In case you are shortlisted for the finals, ensure to bring the model of your light fixture along with you to display at the exhibit. Your lights must be battery operated as plug points will not be available at the venue.
Awarding Criteria
The winning light fixture will be decided based on originality, innovation, visual appeal, functionality and purpose, aesthetics, relevance to the theme, problem solving ability, user experience and overall appeal
